I'm very torn about it. I think he's gonna get better, but he gone now

10 team PPR QB/WRx3/RBx2/TE/Flex(W/R/T)/K/DEF

Traded away Ball/Asiata/Rainey for Gronk/Hill

New team
QB: Foles
WR: Julio, Brown (Pit), Johnson (Hou), Quick, Gordon
RB: Charles, Bell (Pit), Brown (SD), Ivory, Hill, Sankey, Taliaferro, Davis
TE: Gronk, Cameron
K: Tucker
DEF: Cincy, Houston (Will drop for Hunter or best available player after this week)

Whatcha think?

Good mix of studs, upside, and lots of depth. Looks like setup for playoff run. Dangerous team when Gordon comes back.

Smart to jump off now before it gets worse.

I imagine Hillman/Anderson get more work since Ball has been ineffective

I feel like this is just a humble brag. Your team is obviously loaded.

Yes it is, but this wasn't a rate my team thread. My issue is specifically trading away Ball, and had I just put up the players involved no one would have said anything but, albeit correctly, "Depends on the rest of your team". Was it a dumb move to trade him away for Gronk even though I have Cameron? I absolutely hated giving up Ball but got an itchy trigger finger with him being off and not looking great so far.

Let's turn this thread into a "Ball owners, what are you doing with him?" cause your team is fine and it's a sure-fire playoff team. Anyways...

Ball owner myself. Got a verbal agreement on Foster and Blue for him.

Watching Montee play has been tough. Is it his line? Is it him or his vision?

Healthy Foster > Ball, however hurt Foster/healthy Blue < Ball

Tough call.

Someone dropped him so I scooped him up. I'm going to stash him in hopes he goes off. Preferably after this two weeks with Donald Brown

I'm calling B.S.

So originally in a ten team league, you had:

Foles
Julio, A. Brown, A. Johnson
J. Charles, L. Bell, M. Ball, Sankey
Cameron

Please list out your first 7 picks of this draft to prove me wrong.

Charles - OK
Julio - OK
L. Bell - went in the 2nd in most leagues
M. Ball - went in the 2nd/3rd in most leagues
A. Brown - went in the 3rd/4th in most leagues

You are either lying or play in a league with your mother, three sisters, and 5 of your sister's BFFs.

Interesting. I offered Foster to Ball owner and he instantly declined.

I think Footballguys said that Ball had the most YAC in the nfl the first couple games. His value was always based on TDs more than yards. Seattle is the best D in the NFL, give Ball a couple weeks.

Why would I lie? Its a 10 team PPR with some fairly competitive folks, I just pay more attention than some and drafted in a way hoping to land some big names in trades, which I did.

Rd1 Charles
Rd2 Julio
Rd3 ABrown
Rd4 AJohnson
Rd5 Harvin
Rd6 Vereen
Rd7 Foles
Rd12 Gordon FYI

Before the season began, I traded Harvin/PThomas for Ball. Then after the Rice fiasco, and Forsett had his good game and was gonna be the man, I traded Forsett/Hunter/Vereen for Le'Veon.

Were they bad trades at the time I did them, ehh, debatable, but they filled needs others thought they needed at the time, as did I.

Trade one was before the season. Harvin was awesome in the Super Bowl, had a ton of love during camp, and Pierre Thomas was shaping up to be THE guy in NO. Ingram sucked remember? Ball was absolutely nothing but potential. Period. That wasn't as bad as you're making out.

The 2nd trade was made before week 2. Rice fiasco, Forsett was gonna be the guy in Baltimore, Hunter was all potential and most on here will admit that then Vereen was borderline RB1 in PPR leagues especially after his preseason. Again, not as bad then as you're making out.

but still a consensus top 20 pick.

Fact is, you traded a WR3 and a RB2/3 for a RB1. Feel free to spin however you want though

Yes really and you know it. Consensus or not, most people took him cause he was "ranked" as that, but there's a reason he was one of the most discussed player pre-draft. Most didn't feel comfortable drafting a guy that highly that was completely unknown.

FYI, Harvin has scored more than Ball so far and Thomas has scored the same, only because come to find out, Ingram didn't suck.

I'm not spinning anything, it's FF. Last year I'm sure you would have called me a complete idiot if I'd have traded before the season Richardson for Knowshon/Keenan. Some of us pay attention more than others dude. Doesn't mean it's not competitive.
