I have been at it for a few weeks now... far more difficult than I would have thought to just pick a guy or two that's going to get at hit.

LINK

Basically you can pick up to two players per day, the goal is to string together 56 hits, prize is $5.6M. So far worldwide no one has made it to 30 correct picks in a row. Apparently MLB.com has been doing it since 2001 and no one has made it to 50.

This is my 3rd year to do it. It's incredibly frustrating and addicting. I got up to 18 last year which is my highest. 8 is my best so far this year. Probably average a streak of 3 before I go hitless.

You have a strategy? I first started by picking studs every night which was just a meh strategy. I've had decent success with division games and selecting a hitter with a good and lengthy track record against the starter. I usually double down until 10.

Not yet... just trying to pick high-average guys that aren't facing ace pitchers. Starting to avoid guys that walk a lot, since they lose a few chances each game, and might start avoiding lefties other than a select few since they tend to have the lefty specialists to deal with later in games.

Going with Miggy and Jose Abreu today.

Super important

That's a good point I hadn't thought of

I'm going with Odor who is 9/19 vs Santiago and batting .280 against lefties this year and Machado since he is on fire and righties are batting .288 against Rodon.

Yes very addicting but frustrating. You think it would be easy to just pick 1-2 players who will get a hit, but it's a lot harder than you would think.

I played for awhile then gave up because it's a waste of time and too frustrating

Record is 22. I was pissed when Bryce Harper went hitless against the marlins last year.

I usually look for a leadoff hitter who's been hot going up against a bad pitcher.

Highest I've got is about 16. It's nice to get the free coupons for the MLB.com shop.
