Haven't followed them at all but looked at the numbers. Curious if anyone has seen them play or has any other info outside of the stats

TIA

Barber is the only guy id start and that would be a desperation play

Never had more than 4 attempts in a game. Dirk Koetter was his OC for 2 seasons. TNF. Ugh

Could play Sims' role in the offense, catch some balls. Does have big play potential

On TNF avoid these TB fourth team RB's like the plague

Antone Smith had some good games for Atlanta a couple of years ago.

I'm with you. It's either him of Gillislee. Obviously if Mccoy doesn't play I start him, but if McCoy plays I have to start Smith.

I actually need to pick between Derrick Henry and Terron Ward. PPR

Didn't quizz not have many carries then all of a sudden they were feeding him 30 a game? Not saying they do that with Smith but could get 10-12 with cathes

I think the biggest issue I'd have starting a TB running back is having no idea what the carry distribution between Smith/Barber will be. If the game was held after two weeks ago, everyone would think Barber was a safe start. Now, Smith is the presumed starter. It could go either way though, if I were coaching TB, I'd use Barber.

I'm starting Smith, but I really don't have much of a choice. It's him or Ryan Mathews with Lamar on bye. I feel like at least Smith has some upside. My rb depth has fallen apart. When I get past this bye I should be fine though barring injury.

I have to pick 3 between TWest, CWest, Jennings, Asiata, Smith. Leaning the West Bros and Smith because I can see him getting PPR work if TB gets down early

Indeed

Just don't know if I want to blindly test that theory tomorrow night unless I don't have anything

O/U is sitting at 51 with Falcons a 3 point road favorite.
Thats pretty high for a Thursday night game.

Y'all think playing Thursday night slows down the Falcons enough that they don't score as much as Vegas thinks? Point is that if this game were played on Sunday, I think most would assume the Falcons would be scoring rather easily and the Bucs would have to throw to keep up. That game script would probably benefit Smith's game in a PPR format I would think.

I'm probably rolling with Smith this week and hope that it stays high scoring even though it's a Thursday night game. I have a ton of meh with my other RBs though, so why not

Well TB beat them W1 in a high scoring back and forth and Winston tossed 4 TDs.

Martin had 18 carries and 5 catches
Sims had 4 and 3

I'd expect something similar, but the question for me is how do the touches breakdown

Matthew Berry mentioned the snap breakdown was in favor of Smith somewhere in the neighborhood of 21-3 after Rogers got hurt FWIW. Smith over Barber that is.

The Bucs were playing catch-up when Rogers went down. It'll be nowhere near that drastic tomorrow night.

I do agree with LE that barber in most cases is the RB to own. He should be the early down back. I just think (or hope) they get down early and hopefully that type of ratio you mentioned takes over again for Smith later in the game.

That was a catch up game that went down to 1:00 minute on the clock in OT

Still says something they trusted Smith but that gameflow was flukey

Fwiw I think smith is good and the best back to own in TB in PPR
