QB in flex is why I prefer to hang on to Cutler. Bradford is fragile.
I really want Gates though. I could at least use him as a trade piece later on.

Yea, Cutler should only play in Ryan's absence. You can always pick up a Flacco/Smith/Bridgewater/Fitzy/Geno type of guy based on matchups. I'd prefer Gates to both your TEs when he returns.
eta. Keep your roster, just realized you get to start 2 qbs. Cutler is valuable in your case

Ah, my blunder, lack of sleep.
Rudolph and Cutler (or K/DEF between weeks) would be on the bubble if it were me. Obviously (now), Rudolph is not expendable. You know what's available for QB, so if you think Cutler is also not expendable, then it's all futile.
Gates is gonna eat, I still like him this year.

Maybe. He said earlier in preseason, that he was ready to pass the torch on to Ladarius Green. He said he would still like to come in near the redzone.

How bad do you think you need him? He was suspended for using the nfl banned substances to heal his injuries faster. I don't think he will have the same impact as last season. I think nagging injuries will keep him sidelined.

Not saying that. When a star player says what he said about taking a step back and passing the torch and only wanting to play in the redzone, then I'm saying you may need to think thoroughly what you are about to do.
You will be holding his spot for 2 weeks after this week, because of his suspension. You do not know if he will be getting just goaline targets or playing most downs. I have both because I had extra room, until Dez and TY Hilton went down. I still have both for now, but I won't be able to continue to hold both much longer.

In a deep 12 man 1 keeper league. After the two Injuries to Dez and Hilton I was left scrambling for any WR with possible upside that was left. I went with my gut and got Dorsett and Beasly. Williams and Moncrief were drafted.
