I believe in not making changes to scoring after draft.

Having said that, this doesn't much matter, so I wouldn't raise hell about it.

Do you score running and receiving at .1 per yard or 1 point per 10 yards?

I actually have no problem with it because it does not actually change everything, but you need a majority and you need to listen to dissenters. I would keep it consistent with your rushing/receiving stats.

WR and RB at .1 scoring last year. Talked about changing it last year, but was never brought up this year until today

I don't see the big deal. It's not really necessary but also it's not harmful

Any change to decimal scoring is a good thing.

Also, no games have been played and it's not like it would have changed someone's draft strategy.

I am not a fan of changing anything after draft. But it's before the season and everyone agrees, so no biggie to me. Decimal is an improvement

That's the issue. Not everyone agrees but there is a majority. Should it require unanimity for a post draft change?

What's the reasoning against the change?

Getting a unanimous vote would be best.

I would be pushing for the change too, regardless of who my QB is. Decimal scoring should be the standard.

I'm not sure having Brees has anything to do with it. It doesn't give the better QBs an advantage.

It doesn't give him any advantage. Do you see that ?

It will prevent any ties which is good

Has anyone given a substantive reason for opposing the change?

I do. And I would be for it, and said as much when it came up. Just always been in the camp of when I put my money down the rules should be set, and if someone wants to change after the draft everyone should agree. I wouldn't have dissented if it was not proposed as "if I get the votes deal with it". Left out the bickering for the boards sake

I agree. 90 yards rushing should not be valued the same as 99 yards rushing. It is a much better system. However, they agreed and went into the draft with non decimal. I think he should get unanimous approval to change it.

Although, I'm not sure why anyone would be against it. Hell. I won season high points in a league 2 years ago and won by .01 points for the entire season total. That's crazy

Not to the rule change. I said I disagree with a majority vote to change, that it should require a unanimous vote and left it at that
