Standard scoring. Guy in my league is offering me Cooper for Cooks. So far Cooks has underperformed but the Saints offense is improving. Should I pull the trigger?

That's a very curious trade offer. As a Cooks' owner, I hope that guy is onto something (he did have 13 targets last week), but I'd take Cooper.

It was out of nowhere and seems so easy that it made me second guess myself. I just checked to make sure Carr wasn't hurt or something.

Heating up

Cooks is seeing 20% of the team's targets in the 2nd best pass O in the league.

Here is the thing; Saints routinely in the top 3 in TD passes every year but currently sit at 24th in the NFL. However, the sit at 2nd in the NFL in rushing TDs despite barely running the ball more than in previous seasons. Some of those rushing TDs are going to turn into passing TDs in the 2nd half of the season. The offense is starting to open up. The guy seeing the bulk of the targets should benefit.

And the kicker:

NYG
TEN
WAS
HOU
CAR
TB
DET
JAC

5 at home in the Dome, 3 away (WAS, HOU, TB - cake)

Cirle that CAR matchup as Cooks' toughest on paper, though he still got 80 yards on them with McCown under center.

Cooper still gets wiped out this week on Revis Island and still has a matchup with DEN looming with chris harris and gang. He could be matchup proof but Carr has been a bit up and down this being only his 2nd season
