Alfred Morris or DMC

It's a wait and see situation. There's still a chance the suspension gets put back on hold too.

Morris has obviously been the #2 guy so far, but some of the speculation is that they like him in that #2 spot, so without Zeke, DMC slots into the lead back role. But it's all speculation at this point.

And of course there's always that chance that they split carries too - which would put them both at flex level plays.

My advice would be, even assuming the suspension is upheld, you keep Morris on your bench this week unless there is a clear indication from the Cowboys on how they plan to divvy up the backfield. I know that's a tough thing to do with such a juicy matchup in week 7, but just too many question marks at this point.

At this point, isn’t 17 snaps basically the same as zero?



I’ve read that Dallas kept McFadden sidelined to keep him fresh in anticipation of zeke’s suspension... wonder how true that is?

Like others have said, I would bench him and see what happens. Even if DMC is the starter and gets the majority of carries, Morris may be worth holding since DMC is injury prone.
