Matt Carpenter>Kelly Johnson

Kelly Johnson has played LF mostly this season anyway.

There's nothing really to go off of on Brown though. He's been a bench player in the past ya know?

I'm sure guys like he and Segura will drop some just bc they are playing out of their minds. No where to go but down

He's been good. He's been getting love since last year though. And he was good years ago.

Peavy was good years ago too. Pence's last year of 20/100 wasn't too shabby either although you're right in saying not many expected it to happen again for both.

I don't think there were many people saying AJ would be better so far this year than he was last year.

what did Brown's stats look like in spring training?

he fixed his swing and killed the ball in the spring. I wonder how similar they are to his regular season numbers thus far

McLouth, Mujica, Corbin, and Nava have all been noteworthy.

Radio and twitter hype Burnett. Kinda what I was going off of. Honestly I haven't even paid attention to his stats bc he's a guy I grew accustomed to staying away from.

What's his stats? On phone

His overall line was impressive in the spring. For as big of a guy as be is, most of his HR have been wall-scrapers.

The power #s are legit, but he needs to normalize his walk rate. Judging by his career #s, that should jump quite a bit.

No love for Gattis? Nap has been solid as long as he is healthy.

I don't care where Kelly plays in real games. He is a 25-15 guy who is 2b eligible. His ops was definitely unexpected.

I'm talking about people no one are talking about this year

Gattis is probably one of the most hyped and talked about guys imo

, but his HR/FB rate is nowhere close to sustainable. His HR/FB %s the last 2 years were sub 10%. It's currently sitting at 26%.

I tweeted that to buster olney last night. Random.

He is hyped but his numbers don't lie. We keep waiting for him to regress and it hasn't happened yet. Plus there's OF eligibility in some leagues.

12 HRs in only 133 AB
.946 OPS

Just think if he played most days.
