I have 4 players worth keeping and we can only keep 2. There are a few other team managers that need keepers, so trading my other two is a legit possibility.

A trade must involve equal number of draft picks on both sides, so I'm thinking my trades would be one of my players + one of my draft picks for a better draft pick.

Player / Keeper Cost
L Bell / 3rd round
Gronk / 3rd round
Luck / 5th round
Mike Evans / 16th round

Which two would you keep and what would you ask for in return for the other two in a trade?

10 team league. Standard Scoring.
Passing: 25 yds/pt, 4 pt TDs
Rushing: 10 yds/pt + 3 pts > 125 yds, 6 pt TDs
Receiving: 10 yds/pt + 3 pts > 100 yds, 6 pt TDs

Keep Bell and Gronk.

Definitely Gronk and Bell. Just out of curiosity if trades were off the table, how do y'all handle 2 keepers with the same draft round cost?

It was said in a thread earlier this week that you cannot keep two from same round. If that's the case, I say keep Luck and Bell and trade Gronk for a first or second round pick.

I forgot a key piece of information here. There is no TE in this league. We only have a QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, and 2 R/W/T Flex spots (plus Defense and kicker).

So Gronk's value is much lower than in other leagues.

ya think

Gronk would have been the 10th best WR in a PPR league, not sure about standard scoring. He was only 20 points better than Mike Evans.

Based on the roundage Evans >>>> Gronk here

Luck devalued with 4 TD passing

Bell and Evans are your keepers

I would keep Bell and Luck. I know you should wait on a QB, but I think Luck is worth a 5th round pick. He should be one of the top players (if not the top) at his position and be a consistent performer you can count on. Evans is going to be working with a new rookie QB.

Nah Evans is legit, they had bad QB last season and he still got it done.

Our league uses 4 points for passing TDs and Luck still ended up scoring the most fantasy points of any player.

I stand by my earlier recommendation--keep Luck and Bell.

I was actually hoping for trade suggestions here. This is my first time dealing with keeper league trades in the off-season.

Say, for instance, that you think I should keep Bell and Luck. What should I hope for or expect back for Evans and/or Gronk (in a league where TE only play in the Flex and you aren't required to play a TE).

Evans plus my 16th round pick for an 8th round pick? A 6th round pick in return? What would you expect in return for Evans + a 16th round pick.

Evans is projected as a 3rd round pick by Fantasy Pros.

What about Gronk? Gronk plus my 7th for a 5th? Is that too steep?

I am in a league where you almost never see trades, so I'm probably not the person to comment on trade value. But regarding

In my league, TE is only a flex position also. Doesn't matter when it comes to Gronk. If you have a TV and a computer, then you are aware that this has been the summer of Gronk. Gronk is everywhere. He was No. 10 on the NFL Channel Top 100 players of 2015 as voted by the players. Gronk is the man.

Last year in my league, Jimmy Graham was the third pick in the second round, and Gronk was the ninth pick in the third round. Let me say again, my league is a no TE league-just TE flex in a spot you can also start a WR (but no RB or QB).

Dangle Gronk out there for a trade, and relax as the offers start flying in. I think you can do better than a fifth round pick in return, especially because your league is starting with 24 players off the board.
