I have the 2nd pick, and I am keeping DeAndre Hopkins (will be my 3rd round pick). Would you pick a WR or RB with the 2nd pick? Not sure if I should go Beckham/Julio or David Johnson.

The league is a 12 team PPR.

In the first round I always go with who I think will get the most points... It doesn't matter if it's a WR or a RB...

But that early, I'd lean towards one of the WRs, whichever you prefer

Hmm. Tough. I don't really know how keeper leagues work but I assume Gurley isn't available.

If he is, Gurley in round 1
Allen/Evans round 2

Very solid receiver core pairing one of those guys with Hopkins and you have a stud RB. Basically I think the second round receivers are better options than the Lacy's Ingram's and Charles' this year

Can you play it like that in a keeper league though?

It basically comes down to which group nets me more points (hypothetically):

Julio/Lacy
Johnson/Evans

You could always go 2 WRs to pair with Hopkins, but personally I'd go ahead and grab a stud RB since you can get a stud WR in the second anyway. It's such a deep receiver group. Guys like Robinson, Dez, Marshall, Evans, Allen all have top 3 potential

You're looking at a

Johnson
Hill
Hopkins
Evans

Type starting lineup

Or a
Lacy
Hill
Julio
Hopkins

Type lineup

That's kind of where I've been leaning.

I was in the exact situation. Hopkins was kept for the 23rd overall pick.

I chose Odell 2nd.

By the time it got back to me there weren't any of those guys, a lot of those were keepers or they went around 10-20ish

He's got Hopkins at 26. Who all was there at 23?

It's hard to say without knowing who's already off the board through keepers

David Johnson just seems like I'm reaching. Feel like I can still get a quality back with the 23rd pick.

Going WR with my 1st pick. I imagine Brown will go first. So, it'll be between Julio or Beckham. Leaning towards Julio.

You really can't go wrong with having a duo of Odell/Hop or Julio/Hop

No one will have a duo close to that. Decker is my 3rd WR and I'm very pleased with that

Same. I'm starting Robinson and Dez with Decker in the flex. All of my backs are in a timeshare though and basically the 3rd down back. Hoping for a lot of catches, but I would've still liked one bellcow/goal line guy
