Right now we have a 10 team, but going to 12. We are also switching to PPR. In order to add the other teams and be fair we are using our current order of draft position, based on last year's finish, but allowing the #1 pick to choose to keep that position or switch to another position in the draft if they would like. Then go to 2nd and so on. The final new teams will then get the last two picks.

If it were you what position in draft would you want and why?

Why wouldn't anyone want to pick 1st?

Yeah, I think if I have the choice then I pick first and select David Johnson. It's hard to pass on the best player. But really I wouldn't mind wherever I might wind up. Winning strats at any pick.

Probably 3. 1 2 and 3 are interchangeable and you get the quicker turnaround in the 2nd.

This. Possibly 4-6 as well if you consider Julio, Odell and Antonio just as good as one of the top 3 backs. Problem is RB selection will be shite when it comes back to you.

Draft slot value varies year to year, depending on how many "elite" players there are available in a given year. If you don't get one of those top spots, I'd MUCH rather be around 10-12 instead of 5-9. At 10-12 you're going to turn around and have a top 3 pick in the 2nd round before the talent really starts to dip. In most cases, I'd prefer to have two top 15 players, then one high pick + one low 2nd rounder. Your odds are better with the former scenario IMO. Plus, a lot of those players from pick 6- pick 15 or so are interchangeable depending on your ranking system. If you have a top 3 pick and that player busts then your next best player is outside the top 20...Ouch.

I want the number 6 spot in a 12 team league. I dont care what talent I lose out on in the first 5 picks. I have the least amount of people picking in front of me on both ends. That means the talent is always there. If you pick 1st you wait 24 picks before you choose again. Give me the middle every time.

1-3 is my favorite spot. Some like the 10-12 range so they can get two highly ranked players but I rather get three top 25 players in the front. In my 12 team league QBs get 6 points for a touchdown so at least one or two usually go before my third pick pushing good WRs and RBs down the board. I love seeing Gronk go before my third pick as well.
