my one hope out of this - entitlement reform and shredding the federal budget

President elect trump has full control - the house, the senate, soon SCOTUS.
Its time for us to reform our welfare state. We need to trim medicare, rejigger social security, address the explosive growth in medicaid and deal with gov't pensions.
If he can make this happen, I will be a very happy camper.
My guess is that it won't happen but I can hope.

Agreed, just like the Dems in 2009-2011. Neither had a super majority, but if you want to get things done, you've got your chance.

That starts with Obamacare being done away with, so remember that when others try to spin it positive.

And I don't think he will do these things. But paul ryan wants to do this, and the republican congress will put some of this on his desk.
