New vs. Old: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Old is definitely better. April ONeal is a little teenage girl in the new ones. Also, there's not much variety in the action figures.

My stepson is 6 and prefers older version better.

I had a huge collection when I was younger and don't know what I was thinking when I lost interest in toys and had my mom give them away. 20 years later, with children, wish I still had them.

Old. Same as every other cartoon. New Scooby Doo sucks donkey balls. There is no Space Ghost or Hong Kong Phooey anymore. No Deputy Dog. Duck Tails is mia. I could go on. Kids these days are screwed on cartoons.

I feel the same way but about Hey Arnold!, Ren & Stimpy, Cow & Chicken, Dexter's Lab, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Rugrats, Rocket Power, etc etc.
Every generation feels some nostalgia about the cartoons they grew up on but hate the current cartoons.

At least this generation has Adventure Time and Spongebob.

I have a 5 year old son. New is very much better. I don't know what to tell you. Give me your best episode from the old and I'll smack in down with the new.

The new cartoon are too computer animated. Plus there was a bigger variety of action figures from the original cartoon. I swear I had like 20 different leonardos

I watched about 5 minutes of one of the new ones and it didn't look too bad to me. We're always going to be partial to our first exposure to something, but the new TMNT looks better, has a cooler style, and the writing seemed a lot less cheesy (though still cheesy enough to be TMNT).

Just to be clear, I'm talking about these guys:

re: New vs. Old: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The new ones have a female turtle....... That's pretty much all that needs to be said. If the world has gotten so pussified that they have to have a female turtle in TMNT then frick this place.
