Speaking of, looks like Dane Brekken Shea is going to go on loan to a Championship side.

Classic. Also looks like Gert Verbeek is going to take over at FCN, hopefully Timbo can excel under his tutelage like other American stars such as Bradley, Jozy and Aron. It would be nice if his dumbass started playing well again on a regular basis.

Didn't realize that Verbeek was on his way out, about time he got a shot in a bigger European league. Advocaat will be a great replacement, I'm surprised AZ were able to get him.

About damn time. Any idea where he's going?

No idea, just saw some of the USMNT writers this morning on twitter discussing it. Seems like the only logical move for him, imo. I imagine he'd be wanted by some of the better teams in the league, but I'm just not sure. I'll report back when I something else pops up.

What would y'all think about a move to AZ for Mix?

I was thinking about this yesterday and that it would be a very good move for him to get to play with Aron and in a better league. You think he would be looking to make a bigger move at this point though?

They've got a decent midfield already with elm, overtoom, henriksen and Gudelj.

This guy sucks. I've done my best to give him a fair shake (Russia in Euro 2012, for example). He just sucks.

Isn't that G. Ochoa's team? If so, even better

Bacon has a goal and assist for AZ in first half.

How hot will his name be in January if he keeps this up?

Gooch made the squad for the match against Burnley. It's the top 2 teams.

Also this was interesting:
quote:

“Jurgen Klinsmann rung me about him, to recommend him,” Redknapp said. “He said he’s probably, almost certainly going to be in his squad for the World Cup. And really he’s a big fan of his. He likes him very much.”

That makes absolutely no sense and goes against everything that JK has preached to his players.

Either that or Jurgy gave him a hell of a sales pitch to make sure that Gooch got a team.
