Yeah I used to want to do one, but then I talked to several people who have done it, and apparently it really sucks.

re: Official 10/12 Warrior Dash Thread-Saint Francisville Edition

Started at 9:45 am. I enjoyed the new course. Lots of hills though the trails were very narrow. Could be called warrior hike because the narrow trails were clogged with fatties huffing and puffing.

Plenty of young ladies in great shape as well. Wearing amazing running apparel. Lots to look at. I would bet a great deal of crossfitters.

RAn along side of a group of special forces guys. From their patches i saw afew rangers and a seal. They were decked out in their special forces fatigues, helmets, gloves, and some small packs. They were repping a charity or something.

Our group came up on a young fat lady who appeared to have twisted her ankle. Couldn't get an atv to her to get her out. The special forces guys say, "hey we have a stretcher." They whip it out and tote the fattie to the med atv, then put it up and continue on..... Mother effing Merica!!!'

Should have left her out there to starve for a few days.

She prolly would have eaten another fattie as they rounded the curve.

we ran it this afternoon around 1:00 and had a lot of fun. It was well organized and the obstacles were pretty darn good.

re: Official 10/12 Warrior Dash Thread-Saint Francisville Edition

I thought overall the course was harder with the hills. Last year the sand was the biggest challenge.
The obstacles never are too hard so long as your not lazy or out of shape. Much better flow this year where as last year they're was clusters of people at obstacles and other points that slowed up peeps.

My only complaint is no shower to clean up. The pond was ok but not entirely ideal. Two hour drive home with red mud and a smell I am not familiar with wasn't cool

Yeah it would have been nice to have a shower instead of the pond...even if it was a cold shower.

Had a great time! We had a group of people and had to wait for some stragglers because we wanted to help them through some of the obstacles they may have not completed, but nice layout...definitely ready to take it to the next level

Tough mudder or spartan next on the radar!!

I saw that in the paper this morning. I'm going to do some google searching later to see if they uploaded their video. One of them had a gopro camera.

They're up on the site that's linked. Just search by name or bib number.
