Either the test is harder
The multiple choice questions are very hard IMO. Poorly worded and you leave them thinking two choices were correct. Even when returning home to look up the actual law I couldn't tell you which was correct on many of them.
the grading is harder
Ignoring the compensatory v pass individual tests...the avg you need to pass collectively is about a 73% while before it was 70%.
The downside is you can completely bomb a section and have it frick you over...while in the past bombing a test just meant you had to pass the other ones. Coversely, scoring super high on one test can make up for inadequacies on other tests. All this being said, I'm assuming many people bombed Code III
the new (wannabe) attorneys are just dumber.
Could be, though admissions standards are going up...if that has an indicia of intelligence.
