re: Official 10/12 Warrior Dash Thread-Saint Francisville Edition

Agreed that it was crowded, but that didn't bother me too bad. And it wasn't fat people holding the obstacles up (well, sometimes it was), but more that there were just a hundred people getting to obstacles at the same time...so it was a natural backup.

I don't take this kind of race seriously though, so it didn't bother me really.

Same here. It didn't bother me as much as after I did a couple, I just got a little bored with it.

I think starting first and actually being able to attempt to achieve a "good" time may make it fun again.

That being said, I'd rather train some and do the TM.

What is it about this event that draws such a trashy crowd?

OT trashy?

If so, I'm not sure what the correlation between driving with your windows down and an interest in meeting people and being active would be.

They've said that every year since 2012. Don't get your hopes up.

In there like swimwear!

Is there away to link your time chip to your Facebook? In the past I've seen uploaded pictures immediately. I heard that your chip is linked to Facebook and it posts the photos for you. Is this true?

I would love for all of my trashy friends to see trashy pictures of trashy me as I run the trashy course.

5600 x $80 = $448,000

I need to organize one of these things.

I have zero desire to do these type things, but I don't know why some get bent out of shape. They take themselves way to seriously. Are they afraid the delay will cost them the muddy rope climb record for 30 somethings from Livingston parish?

And who doesn't like free beer with friends? Those with no friends.
