Tunes and Fishing

Has anyone noticed any good or bad effects from music from your boat?

follow up question:

Do reds or specs prefer Aerosmith or Blake Shelton?

Only play music when deep sea fishing.

Never play music when fishing for speckle trout or redfish. Fish hear everything.

We tied to a bridge at Toledo with a guide..he was blaring his music.
When he played country the fish would bite like crazy, when he played rap, hard rock etc the bite would completely turn off.
By the end of the night the boats at the far end of the bridge were yelling to keep playing country.
True story.

I do know that hard vibrations will spook redfish until they leave the area

Fish may hear everything, but it doesn't necessarily stop them from biting.
