I wish they would first bring the existing ones up to the same level.
Never been in Rouses. What makes it that much better than a Calandros, Alexanders or LeBlancs?
Is it just a larger version of those with a little more selection in the aisles?
quote:Have these guys redone their small aisled store yet. I know they were, at one time trying to buy up the land around them to rebuild but the fella with the used car lot next door was cock blocking them. Peter needs to get on the stick and writ that check!
Which is why I go to zapardos across the street.

Rouses has nearly 40 stores in Louisiana and Mississippi, including 10 in metro New Orleans and two in the Lafayette area.
Plans for the Rouses store are set to go before the Planning and Zoning Commission on Oct. 21.
quote:The bathrooms in Rouses will be larger than the entire store at Alexanders and you will be able to get 3 buggies down the aisles instead of one at a time at Alexanders. When Rouse's opens Alexanders will turn into the quickie store where you go for bread and milk, like dollar general.
Rouse's will be going head to head with Alexander's with the location where they are going. Don't think that's a very smart move. Alexander's for the win!!!
