1993 vs Arkansas we lost and it was cold

This is also one of my first memories. Sitting with my grandparents in the West bowl, there was (I realize now) a drunk Arkansas student with one of those damn hog hats on that was WPS-ing the whole time. To this day my sister and I cringe - maybe even more so than the average person - when we see one of those hog hats.

I remember going to a Tulane game at Tiger Stadium in the early 90s when it rained so hard everyone took shelter under the stadium. The lights standards were swaying so furiously, everyone thought they were going to come down.

First memory? Hard to say.

Fondest memory from way back in the 70's is we used to tailgate on the west side right up next to the stadium. My Dad had a customized van would set up the bar and such and entertain customers (he was in outside sales). My brother and I would run all around and explore. It wasn't that big of a deal back then and kids were safe to do that. We used to love going and throwing the football over by the airplane by the SEZ. Every time I go back for games and I walk by that airplane it makes me smile.

1973 vs UF

Don't remember much about the game, just the noise and some Florida fan spilled beer on my mom

I watched LSU beat Rice 77-0. Carlos Carson had something like 4 TD's and I could swear Charles Alexander rushed for 200yds.

re: Your first memory of Tiger Stadium?

My first memory was the first game I attended-the Miss. State game in 1977.

I went to a couple of games between 77-81, but my first real memory of going and understanding my surroundings and really soaking it in was the 1982 opener against Oregon State - the first appearance of the Dalton-James gang. They were both freshmen and both went over 100 in that game. When you're a kid, you think that this must be the greatest team ever the way they ran over the Beavers. Three weeks later, I returned for the infamous Tennessee Willie Gault-return tie game. That was the first time I heard the expression "kissing your sister."

That really was a great team, and could have easily played for the national championship if not for two heartbreaking losses to Miss. St. and Tulane (yes, I went to that Tulane game too, in the rain).

I remember WAFB running a montage of the season's highlights to the song "Up Where We Belong" after the win over FSU to secure the Orange Bowl bid.

I got to go to the Sugar Bowl that year when Penn State beat Georgia for Joe Pa's first title, and there was a huge section of LSU fans watching the exciting Orange Bowl 1-point loss to a great Nebraska team on a tiny little black and white portable TV. What a great experience.

My first memory was being young and my brother was even more young while Herb Tyler was QB. The crowd was chanting Tyler Tyler Tyler for some reason and we told my little brother they were chanting his name.

My first football game I can remember was the Alabama replay game in 2000? I think. Walking into the stadium and seeing the crowd and the eye of the tiger, I fell in love pretty quickly

My first memory was from the Curley Hallman era. Not sure on the year but we were sitting in the south endzone and some drunk guy in football pants was singing "I love you, you love me, lets hang Curley from a tree." Odd memory but it has always stuck with me.

I remember Florida '97 and I also remember the guy who sits in front of my season tickets as a teenager wearing a shirt that said "Booty Sucks"

re: Your first memory of Tiger Stadium?

I want to say it was 1963, but don't rightly recall. We would drive from the Chuck Saturday a.m., and get to the west side parking lot around noonish, go to the cafeteria and eat then just hang out. This was before tailgating. My grandmother had box seats on about the 30 yd line, west side. Couldn't see shite for action unless you stood the entire game, and when the ball was in the south side of the 50. Great times...

My first game in 1982 as a 12 year old. We didn't have season tickets, but my dad would get a few tickets through works buddies once or twice a year. This time, the seats were down in the corner of the SEZ on the west side.

My first memory was of walking through the portal and watching Tiger Stadium expand out in front of me. I'd be in the Dome before, but this seemed different.

To this day I still get that cool feeling when walking through the portal to my seats in the EU and watching the now expanded stadium open up.

I was little, late 60's and I dont remember who were were playing. But it was dark and my dad walked in front and I held my moms hand through the crowd, it was so loud and there were fights we would have to walk around and I remember making a game of jumping over the puke puddles.

My first game was the 82 game against Florida State. I got beamed in the head by multiple oranges. It was awesome. I remember Alan Risher throwing a 75 yd bomb in that game Dalton running through the criminoles like a hot knife through butter.
