Thanks kbro, enjoying the Glands tunes. Loved other Athens acts like REM, dbs, B52s,etc..also Atlanta acts like drivin n cryin and The Producers.

If you like that Glands garage band/Replacements-esque stripped down sound, I highly recommend Grand Champeen's Battle Cry For Help & also The One That Brought You..

Grand Champeen - Cottonmouth

Grand Champeen - The Sound That Saved My Year

Grand Champeen - Bottle Glass

I have been getting into some 80' rock. Pretty good stuff. Seems like a great decade of music from what I have heard so far.

re: Whatcha Listenin´To? (Music Edition)

From what I have been listening to, The 80' music changed from the 70's. Groups that seemed to really rock in the 70's seemed to mellow somewhat in the 80's. Still decent but just not the same. My brother had some early Aerosmith , and they rocked in the 70's and seemed to mellow a whole lot in the 80's.

I like all music. I learned a lot about recent music on here, especially in the old O-T music treads. I seem to always go back to the music of my youth -- the 60s.

How do you make a song come up? Like you just did. I am new here and not sure how it works. Thanks.

Go to youtube and pull up a song. There is a place below the video that says "share". Copy the url that comes up and hit "Link" on the side of the Music Board message box. Paste the url in the link box and hit "OK". The word "LINK" will show up in the box. Erase it and type in the artist and song. The hit OK and it will show up in the message box.

Good luck!
