Has anyone ever seen this DLP projector in action?

You basically can connect anything to it for projection onto a larger surface: iphone, cpu, xbox, ps3, etc..

Why would one spend 159 for this versus 99 dollars for an Apple TV?

Especially as iPhone connectivity is an obvious center feature.

Im guessing this is more for say tailgating or vacation purposes.

Bc like someone else said, Apple TV does the same thing wirelessly

Meh,

Portability is nice, but at 150 lumens you'll be reall restricted as to where you can use it.

Better off just using a TV.

Apple TV doesn't have a screen built into it. However,

You are NOT using this thing outside.

Most standard projectors you see people use at tailgates or at home are 2000+ lumen.

How well you think 150 will work out
