re: 26% of Obama supports see the Tea Party as the top terror threat.

quote:

A Rasmussen poll released Thursday indicates that 26% of President Obama’s supporters see the Tea Party as the nation’s “top terror threat.”

Perhaps more shockingly, a staggering 20% of government workers apparently hold a similar view, ranking the Tea Party as a greater national security risk than radical Muslims.

“Among those who Strongly Approve of the president, more fear the Tea Party than radical Muslims,” the report says.

What can one even say about this?

8% of Americans may have a graduate degree but many of them believe in religion which disqualifies them from being on my level. Therefore even without two advanced degrees I'm still in the top 5%.

Making the absolute claim that religion = less intelligence gives me some insight.

Wouldn't the true thinker consider all possible scenarios when pondering a complex question (especially a question that no-one knows the answer to).

To limit your scope of thought seems narrow minded and frankly ignorant which stand in stark contrast to your assertions...

I'd rather see him just take a break for awhile on his own.

Atl, which group do you see as the bigger terror threat, the Tea Party or radical Muslims?

radical Muslims.

But I hear more about revolution from my brother in law & you guys. I expect it to pick back up for a while in response to the recent gay-friendly stuff.

I'm not really threatened by crazy guys with guns, but I can see how some people would be.

Now if I were someone who looked like a radical Muslim to an ignorant racist, (like a Sikh or Hindu) I might be more inclined to be scared of ignorant racists, since they don't seem to be able to discriminate very well between different groups. But that's not a Tea Party thing, it's an idiot thing.

Yeah Barack Hussein Obama has done nothing to indicate he might be Muslim...

including the time when he admitted being one, no nothing, nothing at all, the radical muslim's friend he entertains at the white house is his glimpse into that other side, he really doesn't know anything about that culture, yet we're the dumbasses.

Probably the same thing you say when polls show the same percentage of Republicans believe Obama is the anti-Christ or is more dangerous than Al Queda.

"You guys"? Which "guys" are those? I probably have as many views that would be considered liberal as you do.

Insane.

I don't know how old you are, but I go back pretty far (I just turned 58). It's incredible to me how often this anti-Christ stuff comes up with politicians. Nixon was the anit-Christ. Kissenger was the anti-Christ. I'm sure it was said about Kennedy because he was Catholic. Now evidently it's Obama.

I wonder what people mean when they say that? I understand it's a Biblical reference, but I wonder what they think that actually means? Or what they think is going to happen?

Actually I don't think people are serious with that or the tea
Party is the top terror threat. You give people multiple choice and they choose whatever depending on their mood, much of it in a wise cracking way.

Not that there aren't nuts out there who believe that crap. It's just a much smaller percentage.

Well, about 40% of Americans think Obama is Muslim. There's plenty of 'dumb-ass' to go around. Both R's and D's
