NOBODY is talking about forcing churches to marry gays. That's a completely fabricated controversy. That slippery slope argument is bullshitee; the government can't even force churches to perform interracial marriages -- why do you suddenly believe it's going to have the power to force gay marriages?

Hmmm, I wonder what would happen if churches were taxed. Methinks they would become a bigger player in american politics than they are already.
You take tax exempt status away from non profits like boy scouts and churches, you're basically advocating for an end to separation of church and state and setting up religion to become a big player in govt and us on the road to a theocracy. Change does not work without consequences.
I woud prefer that not happen and I believe the status quo works.
