The Saints have also done a very good job of developing O line players, with the latest example being DLP.

And I hope Kromer was not the reason for this.

This is the first guy that came to mind.

Tony Mandarich was the second overall pick in 1989, was cut in 1992 and is considered one of the NFL biggest busts.
However, after some time out of football, he came back and was a starter between 1996 and 1998 with the Indianapolis Colts.

Even though I think he's a little overrated, Andre Smith from the Bengals.
quote:

Through two-plus seasons after being taken No. 6 overall in the 2009 draft, Andre Smith looked like he might be a massive bust. Then, rather suddenly, the light came on — Smith closed the 2011 season with several solid performances, then in 2012 played as one of the NFL’s elite right tackles.

Andre Davis was selected second overall in the 2001 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals, and played guard his first three years in the NFL and was on the fast track to being a bust. The Cardinals didn't resign him and he went to Dallas where he became a pro bowler.

Chris Williams was drafted by the Bears 14th overall in the 2008 NFL Draft. Had injury problems and probably hasn't lived up to his potential, but is becoming a steady starter.

Don't know who the 3-5 WR's will be.
PT is early fav for most carries.
Too early to tell anything on def.
Don't know anything on starters in secondary.
CSP is back.

To all: Did we not make an attempt to re-sign Devery?

Also, I lived in Oklahoma for the past 9 years (before last year), so I'm familiar with OU. IF Kenny Stills can focus and not be a primadonna, he has the talent to be a beast.

No. At least there was nothing public indicating that they would attempt to resign him.

Thanks for the info. I REALLY REALLY like Stills. He's coming to a mature locker room of guys that work hard with leaders like Brees, Colston, Lofton, Will Smith, etc. I'm hoping like some of us, that maturity comes with age because I think he can be the next Steve Smith (talent wise).

My brother is an OU fan first, and I love OU as well (LSU over all, of course...) so I've watched many OU games. Some times you would be amazed at what he did, and then after some games wonder where he was. I didn't care for him much as a player - for reasons that I stated earlier and probably because it's hard to follow up what Ryan Broyles did at OU. But now that he is a Saint, I'm hopeful he can turn it on and do big things in New Orleans.

Suntiger, who are some "sleepers" (not fantasy football wise) that you have an eye on for this upcoming year? You've mentioned a couple already but I'm curious as to who else I should look out for.
