I could care less about Zimmerman, only the media's fascination with making him a "white Hispanic"

Really? You care that much about this?

Lulz at you playing the race card.

If TM had actually killed GZ, what would everyone be saying about the trial?

People on here would be calling for a summary execution.

the state doesn't have much evidence to prove beyond resonable doubt. The bullet entry though the shirt and the chest are different, was the big point yesterday imo. Going to be hard to put GZ on top if that evidence stands.

If GZ is convicted, I expect Jessee Jackson and Al Sharpton to be up in arms about a Hispanic not being given a fair trial.

Naw, it was a custom job just for him.

I think it's plausible that GZ thought he was going to be killed

If gun was mentioned or noticed and he has half a brain in his head he should fear for his life. Pulling or mentioning "gun" in a fight escalates things x 100. You pull a gun in a fight you better be shooting or back-pedaling and screaming "Stop or I'll shoot."

There are, of course, ethnicities - which I guess can be considered subcategories of races.

For instance, whites generally can trace their lineage back to Europe, but there are different ethnic groups within Europe (i.e. Italians, Germans, Slavs, etc.).

Due to the large Spanish-speaking Hispanic population in the Western Hemisphere, many Hispanics can trace their ancestry back to Spain. Hence, why the lighter-skinned Hispanics are considered "white"

Doubt this is going through your mind when your head is being rammed into the concrete.

Well "shoot, shoot, shoot, kill, kill, kill" is not what would be going through my mind. I'd defend myself with my hands, like a real man. Hell, Craig didn't even need to shoot Debo. You think Zimm NEEDED to shoot this kid?

If Zimm really thought this kid was going to beat him to death, then he was wrong.

I've had my arse whooped worse than Zimm. Also whooped some arse worse than he got it, and the combatants involved always walked away.

How come Zimm's wife never felt the need to kill him when he was kicking her ass?

I just don't see how they can prove this case. Not saying innocent or guilty, just don't see how they can convict with the evidence that has been mentioned.

I hate how involved the media has gotten. The media should never try to take justice into its own hands.

Judging from Trayvon's pictures and tweets, he looked like an upstanding and reputable young man.

He will surely be missed.

Manslaughter sounds like a pretty fair prediction.

It all comes down to whether or not the jury believes Zimm.

How can they not?

All the evidence backs up his claims.

Zimmerman has been accused of acquisition after acquisition... No way he gets let go.

I'm sure GZ isn't a great guy, but can we stop with the referring to TM as the "kid"?
He was 17 years old, 5'11 and 160 lb, he was large enough to defend himself against GZ.

Again, his size doesn't give anyone the right to shoot him, but I was the "kid's" age when I graduated from high school.

Honest question, why do you not believe GZ story?

I don't know what to believe either way, but I am certainly not as convinced as you that he is guilty.

I call 21 year old 300 lb kids, kids.

I'll call Trayvon a kid also.
