Faith in Obamacare plummets to 35%

quote:

The popularity of Obamacare has crashed to its lowest level in nearly two years, according to a new Kaiser Family Foundation poll.

Kaiser's monthly tracking poll found that just 35 percent have a favorable view of the health reform being put into place Jan. 1 while 43 percent view it unfavorably. The favorability rating of Obamacare has been worse only once, in October 2011, when it fell to 34 percent.

Not only is the June poll bad news for the president as his administration struggles to have the health reform program ready for people to begin signing up in October, the trend is troubling. Since September 2012, when 45 percent had a favorable view of Obamacare, the drop has been slow, steady and unbroken.

What's more, 40 percent believe that the country will be worse off under Obamacare. Just 31 percent said the nation will be better off. Only once before, in July of 2012, did those polled say the nation will be worse off under the Affordable Care Act when it reached 41 percent.

There is some good news in the poll, however. Democrats like the name. Said Kaiser, "Democrats show the biggest change in favorability with the alternate question wording — 73 percent say they have a favorable opinion of 'Obamacare' compared to 58 percent who say the same for the 'health reform law.'"

it's only gunna get worse

It will get worse. That what happens when you increase the expense and decrease the coverage of 84% of the peoples' healthcare before Obamacare simply to cover the 16% that did not have health care which Obamacare is not even accomplishing.

Obamacare is going to be really shitty and it's self inflicting shittiness.

But you can stay on your parents health insurance until you are 26.

What's even funnier is that LA's Queen Slut, Mary Landrieu, still stands behind her vote. The same vote that promised to get all sorts of federal funding back to the state.

Where is this funding from a broke federal system that is an out of control locomotive steaming down the tracks?

The 75% of working class realize this, IMO. It's the politicians that voted for this disaster that did so only to gain more minority votes that got us here. These are the same politicians that are exempt from the legislation. The same ones that want to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants to gather votes (of which can't be verified by legal identification) while not giving two shits about securing our borders.

Brilliant I tell you.

No way this will fly...this time. The whole working populous will go rogue if they get to opt out.

If the system locks up, and a lot of folk who had coverage are unable to keep it...and folk die...the internet that made Obama...will destroy him. He won't last out the term.

Obama will be out of office when the full effects of the ACA are felt. History will show he will blame all short falls on the GOP for not funding the necessary component that would make the bill a success, whatever that may be. The Dems will all say they had to pass the current bill as-is to get something moving because time was running out.

The only chance America had to do something about this disaster was in November of 2012. America failed miserably.

It will be like social security and medicare - benefits for the poor. As a society, we can't allow that to happen.

society has no say their elected officials do and the poor will keep those in office that will continue to give them free stuff.

the downfall of every great society is when the higher ups realize they can give themselves whatever they want as long as they keep the lower class happy, the lower class out numbers the middle class.

It is class warfare middle versus lower and higher and the middle class makes up 35-40% of the population. when 40% is paying for the entire 100% society is doomed.

we had all better start learning how to speak chinesse or russian comrades.

More evidence that Obamacare is going smoothly.
Not only private companies but local governments are cutting back worker's hours.

quote:

When Regal Entertainment Group (RGC) in April blamed ObamaCare for the fact that it was cutting some of its workers' hours, backers of the law mounted a furious backlash against the theater chain, among other things filling its Facebook page with boycott threats.
"Greed and selfishness make me sick," one of them said.

quote:

Yet while private companies are getting all this unwelcome and hostile attention, local governments across the country have been quietly doing exactly the same thing — cutting part-time hours specifically so they can skirt ObamaCare's costly employer mandate, while complaining about the law in some of the harshest terms anyone has uttered in public.

Local Governments cut to part time hours
