Growing up a Saints fan, what are some traditions and/or things you remember doing and seeing ect ect over the years in the Superdome?
I can remember going to games when I was 6 yrs old. When you're that age it wasn't so much about winning or losing (mostly losing
) and more about having a good time. I can remember thinking the superdome was the biggest most magical place on the planet!
Remember when you couldn't go a single timeout without seeing a paper airplane. Our seats were in the plaza back then and I used to be so jealous that my paper airplanes would never be able to travel far like they did from the terrace.
Food was also a big thing for me when I was younger. I just had to get the french fries in a cup every game.
They need to bring those back!
The season ticket holders next to us were 2 older black guys who were best friends. One of the guys had a walking cane with him every game... it would unscrew from the top and it had 2 long glass cylinders inside for sneaking in alcohol. I thought that was some brilliant james bond type shite.
Lets hear some of your superdome stories through the years?
