I wonder how much of "Energy" is nuclear weapons.

And why vets benefits isn't part of "military."

Thanks. It is.

Pulled it up and here's a semi-breakdown of the figures. LINK

For instance, the receipt doesn't include payroll taxes for Medicare/SS.

you are right...I guessed min would be 4 years

quote:

Length of Service
Prior to September 8, 1980, there was no minimum length of service necessary to be considered a
veteran for most VA benefits
. However, for an individual who enlisted after September 8, 1980,
there are now certain minimum length of service requirements. The general requirement is either
24 months of continuous active duty or the “full period” for which the servicemember was called
or ordered to active duty

so jackassssssssss...how long is normal active duty?

quote:

In the Army, you may sign up for anywhere between two and five years of active duty

The U.S. Navy will allow people to enlist for two years of active duty. You must also commit to two to four years of active drilling reserves.

The U.S. Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard require a minimum active duty enlistment sign-up of four years

no clue? pretty damn good guess.
