They specifically attributed their edit to the threat of Congress beating them up over it.

Because at the time, Congress thought State was in charge of security, and they didn't want Congress beating them up about a failure that was CIA.

CIA intentionally had less security so as to not bring notice to their annex, which was secret. It was their call, their mistake and State knew the Issas of Congress would use this as a political football.

And of course they were right.

This proves you are a complete idiot or a complete Dem. hack.

The timetable for withdrawl from Iraq was set in the Bush admin. You fail.

quote:

Iraq and U.S. agree that all U.S. forces will withdraw "no later than December 31, 2011." On November 17, 2008, US and Iraqi officials signed a Security Agreement, often referred to as a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), stating that "All the United States Forces shall withdraw from all Iraqi territory no later than December 31, 2011." The agreement also called for all U.S. combat forces to withdraw from Iraqi cities "no later than June 30, 2009." [U.S.-Iraq Status of Forces Agreement, 11/17/08]

Things are not better in Afganistan and never will be as far as the west is concerned.

Fail again.

Which still refutes Rex's allegation that they did not scrub anything to make themselves look better. Even you are tacitly admitting that they did.

Crisis/waste, you know the routine.

I just have a question: if Benghazi was really about buying stinger missiles back that we accidentally sort of sold to Al Qaeda, Rex, are you going to call for the president's resignation? I mean, that's pretty much what happened in Iran-Contra, right?

Just when I think I've come to tolerate you for your blind devotion to this corrupt and morally bankrupt administration because you just don't know any better, you post this crap.

You won't get a response.... And if you do, it won't be an answer, it will be a spin of some sort.

How can you have a discussion with someone who is starting off with utter disregard for the truth? In their mind, no matter what facts others provide in dispute, will always believe they are right.

It's not worth the trip down delusional lane with these folks.

I'm aware of who I'm dealing with.

I'd rather attempt a rational discussion than a volley of personal insults. Besides, Rex would own me at that game.

Was it Truman who has the Phrase "the Buck Stops Here" on his desk?

I guess Obama is too into distribution of wealth to hold on to a buck.

President Barack Obama says the responsibility for what happened at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, falls to him and to no one else.

He'll let us know what he is responsible for just as soon as it comes out in the news.

Apologies owed to family of those killed who were told the video caused all of this and they were going to make sure that person paid a price. When it has been proven that the information when relayed to those victims families were of the contrary and evolved that in fact it was not a result of video.

But hey who cares about the real victims, let's cover the asses of the ones Rex and his ilk praise every day.

I agree that Rice deserves an apology. However it should be from Clinton and Obama. She was just a pawn in their game of covering their asses. Just another sheep sent out to slaughter.

The patented "Rex Troll Trap" ®, drawing in Conservatives since September 2004.

Absolutely flawless. So sublime yet exquisite at the same time. A thing of beauty.
