Why "occupied Palestine"? We don't call Mexico "occupied Aztec territory"?

Why is it that every single other country on the face of the earth gets to conquer lands and then just call it as their country. But when Israel conquers land, every single liberal map and crazy government says it's "occupied "

Georgia and North Carolina are "the United States ", not "occupied Cherokee territories "

Even Tibet is "China", Kurdistan is "Turkey" etc. we don't say "occupied Chechnya" even though they literally blow us up.

Is it just the whole "liberals hate Jews " thing? I've never understood why Israel among all other countries does not get a pass. Must be the Jew hate that festered with European liberals for centuries.

Paleostinians are the ghetto underclass of International politics. They aren't a "people" they are a Leftist cause. And nobody cares less about them then their fellow Arabs.

What's even more annoying is conservatives feeling sorry for Israel when they're such a parasite that leeches off of the U.S.

It's not a valid question? Everywhere on earth is conquered. I gave multiple examples of modern "occupations". Your response is to attack Israel?

I think you answered my question after all!

No it's we don't allow fascist regimes to take the territory of their neighbors through conflict even if jesus loves them very very much. You've never understood becasue you have no concept of international law it is not covered in your Bible.

Yeah, Lefties always say the White Man "stole" the U.S. from the Indians. You never hear them say that the lands of Mexico, Central and South America were 'stolen" by the Spaniards. Also, only 5% of the African slaves were sent to the U.S., the rest to the lands south of us and the islands, but you never hear about how the Hispanics are "racist". Lefties hate Israel because they worship the God of the Bible, the same reason they hate Christians. Any other religion, you're cool.

Israel occupied Jordanian land after the '67 war, not Palestinian land. Search your history books for the nation of Palestine in it, the region got its name from the Romans.

And I've never understood the Evangelical conservative obsession over protecting and serving the interests of a foreign state which only came into existence by international decree in 1948. And you surely can't confuse me with being "liberal."

Since you're babbling about nothing and have no idea what's going on , I suggest you read a book by someone called Robert Fisk called "the Great War for civilization". Maybe it'll enlighten you a bit

Yeah, after WWII all the countries got together and said you can't take land through war, unless you already have because we don't want to give back all the land we've taken through war.

They also tried to use this moralist argument before WWII to justify expanding any German conflict into a European wide war, all the while maintaining colonies overseas by force.

I have no problem with the Israelis taking whatever action they see as reasonable and necessary to guarantee their security. But it sure as hell isn't in the interests of the United States to support them and embolden them in their aggressive methods.

As bad as the Anglo-American conquest was, the Spaniards were arguably worse, If "you" have never heard that, you haven't been paying attention. It's common knowledge to anyone with more a cursory understanding of history. North America gets more focus because duh, we're in North America.

Jewish bankers had been purchasing land in present day Isreal since the 1700s.

Turkish overlords began to rapidly sell off thier property holdings to these Jewish bankers in the late 1800s because they saw the writing on the wall. The Ottoman Empire was rapidly coming to an end so these Turkish overlords cashed out.

You may want to look in the mirror and ask yourself that question.

You have a strong propensity of making yourself looking, well, less than educated.

You, along with others on this message board, may want to look into Edmond James de Rothschild and the Rothschild banking dynasty and their contributions to the establishment of the current state of Isreal.

Try a little research before you spout off on issues you have no idea about.

I think he means it in a literal way. Jewish financiers were buying land in the area. Which is true.
