I like it. You can come right at the batters.

A huge park gives an advantage to good pitching and base hitting teams.

What point are you trying to make? Hopefully not the same one as the announcers have made 100 times so far today, that the fences need to be moved in.

They don't seem to realize that it doesn't change the game very much, bc neither team is getting an advantage.

Personally I love watching 2-1, 3-2 baseball games where pitchers and defense dominate and offenses have to depend on playing small ball to win.

If I had a point, I would have made one.
Just a comparison chart for your viewing pleasure Señor .

Agreed. & Georgia's field is a Gulf. I'm surprised anybody homers there.

I like this comparison of all the baseball fields in the SEC. Didn't realize the box was that much bigger than all the other parks. Cool stuff!

UK you can tell why they stack their lineup with left handed hitters.

Never realized Vandy's park was an EXTREMELY friendly right hand hitter's park though.

I've been to Foley and it's not bad for a left handed hitter, either

Auburn's park though, wow...

Good post, I was just wondering this after hearing the discussion about moving the fences in.

What?

I agree. It does matter, depending on what type of team you have. A small ball team like Vandy would prefer playing us in a bigger park like Hoover.

TD Ameritrade plays the same way the Hoover Met does.

And does the left fielder just post up on the warning track?
