Jose was so sick of dealing with those first rate bitches in that disgrace of a league he got him self sent off in his last match because he couldn't wait to gtfo. He was probably on a plane to London before the match even ended.

Real still has two league matches left. Wonder if they'll do what City did with Mancini.

I read somewhere that they have a 20 million clause that whoever breaks the contract has to pay, whether it be Mourinho or Real. I'll try to find the link but I think both are trying to get the other to quit.

Since they both obviously want it to be over just cancel the clause and move on.

Congrats, Cap!

Missed the match, will have to see it later.

Everybody sing the translator song. Nice little ditty that goes like this:

Nah, nah, nah, nah,
Nah, nah, nah, nah,
hey, hey, goodbye.

No doubt. It will take some time to repair the damage he´s done.

He´s very applicable for myriad clubs, but not for Real Madrid.

ETA He´s a winner, has his criteria, is serious, thorough, and has a great CV.

So if you were picking his successor who would it be?

Laudrup aside, Flo´s already burnt the two best options, Del Bosque and Pellegrini.

I´d say Ancelotti, but that would be a hard sell in Madrid.

He´ll already never live this debacle down, until the tenth CL is won with whomever.

That would be a lot of pressure on him, and Ancelotti (were Ancelotti hired on).

Anyway, we´ll have to see if presidential elections are held. I´m not up on when his term expires.

If this is for real, with Laudrup as the man, I´d say yes.

Isn't that about what they paid for him though?

Yes. It'd be good business considering his age and what they got out of him

€90M, I believe. I´m not sure, however (either this, or less).

He is loved in Spain, he loves Spain, was a technical wizard, and is tactically very astute.

He was also a very successful businessman, before venturing into coaching.

I´d say he´s further on than Guardiola, when he got the call up at Barça.
