I realize that most OT'rs were reversible, washable suits if they wear a suit at all. I like to dress well. If others want to slum, that's cool.

Bankers, lawyers, and executes wear suits because it is expected but you saying you wear a suit because of the swag factor?

Jeans, boots, company-logo polo.

I am tired of ties. They are stupid.

I enjoy dressing well. I should have lived back when people dressed up to go on airline trips. Now, everyone dresses like they are going to watch NASCAR at the local motor lodge.

It is rare to see someone in a suit in church, in court (except the lawyers, usually), in business meetings, etc. It is part of the sad downfall of this country.

Wear one about once a week. We are not required but working at a corporate office for a big bank you never know who you will run into.

You can dress well w/o a tie, Mr. Blackwell.

I do agree about what people look like when they go out.
Troglodytes, pretty much.

I have to wear a coat and tie everyday, and have for years. My goal in life is to get to where Aftco's, T-shirt, and flip-flops are the uniform of the day.

Was told to start dressing down a bit because my bowties and suits were making others feel uncomfortable. Grow the F up people and dress like damn professionals.

I never, ever see doctors wearing scrubs out in public.

Nurses and dental assistants; all the time.

Every attorney I've ever worked with (including myself) has only worn suits if they have to go to court. Shit, some attorney's don't even wear suits to court. I do think the blazer and slacks look in court is tacky.

Honestly, my job is so odd that I'll wear anything from a tuxedo to boxers or a a police officer outfit.
