State senator wants feds' help in finding gravesite for Boston bombing suspect

quote:

A Massachusetts state senator says the federal government should intervene in the quest to find a final resting place for the elder Boston Marathon bomber.

State Sen. Harriet L. Chandler, D-Worcester, said Uncle Sam needs to alleviate a Wochester funeral home’s onerous burden of having accepted Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s corpse on Friday after it was released by the state medical examiner.

Peter Stefan, owner of the Graham, Putnam and Mahoney Funeral Parlors has told The Boston Herald his business has been beset by protesters since accepting the body, and he cannot book any new business until convincing a cemetery to provide a plot for the body.

quote:

Stefan accepted Tsarnaev’s body Friday after it was initially sent to a North Attleborough funeral home, where it was greeted by about 20 protesters.
“We have a body for burial that has caused a lot of controversy and we can’t continue to play this game,” Stefan told The Herald. “Under normal circumstances, the government would say it’s (the funeral parlor’s) responsibility to find a place for burial, but this is not normal circumstances. This is a nightmare.

"My problem here is trying to find a gravesite,” Stefan added. “A lot of people don't want to do it. They don't want to be involved with this. I keep bringing up the point of Lee Harvey Oswald, Timothy McVeigh or Ted Bundy. Somebody had to do those, too."

Sound like a good time to dump him in the ocean if no one will take him...

Fill him full of bacon and blow him up in the ocean. Let the seagulls pick up the pieces...

Seriously, why not cremation? Seems the only logical solution.

Kind of tangental to the story but.....

Why is he asking for fed help?

Why can't the state do a thing?

Politicians are worried about looking sympathic to the bombers?

Or is Mass so liberal that they left the concept of state's rights so far behind that they conceive of doing anything without federal go ahead.

What was the last thing that went through Tamerlan's mind?

A muffler.

A Democrat demanding someone be forced to accept the body.

Color me shocked.

What is a Cadaver Farm....Glad You Asked.

They aren't dumping that stinking SOB in Tennessee.

Unless they want to test to see how long it would take a dozen hogs to consume his Muslim ass.

Jug,

A cadaver farm is where investigators learn what happens to bodies over time. Very useful insights if you are a homicide investigator. We put his dead a$$ to work educating the good guys.

ETA:

We can let animals eat him too. All is well that ends well.

I thought about cremation and spreading his ashes over the ocean or something. Then I saw on the news that Muslims aren't allowed to use cremation. So why isn't cremation allowed as a form of burial, but cremation is celebrated when they incinerate themselves with a bomb vest?!

My God, did you even read your own article?

I know what a body farm is. Dr Bass at UT pioneered the idea.

I'm simply saying, we don't even want his dead lying on the ground in Tennessee.
