Gee, I wonder why he would be on the other side of that issue.

I have never read a bigger pile of compost than those two paragraphs. Up is now down and down is now up according to Obama.

He could have said "reject the fear mongers", "beware of those that call other FELLOW AMERICANS communists, marxists, etc".

It has happened before.

There would be no Democrat party either, if that were true. He loves fear mongers, government needs them.

So we should take a chill pill for every time he makes laws byway of Executive Powers, or his czars do the same without any oversight by anyone, We should ignore how much he laments about not having the powers of a tyrant as he could rule so much more efficirntly if things were different

I suspect Hitler and Stalin made similar comments on their way to tyranny.

Let us not forget this famous quote:
quote:

But, the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as it’s been interpreted, and the Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf.

On a scale of 1-10 (ten being a high score) your comment ranks as bat-sheet crazy. It's almost as interesting as the other posts but not quite. Keep trying because it's entertaining to read these comments

How does that apply to foreign exchange students that received Fulbright scholarships?

Why would he treat a commencement speech as a campaign speech?

What is the oldest democracy or republic? How many kingdoms and dictators have we seen?

To not be cautious of government tyranny is foolish. The wolf is telling the sheep to trust him.
