Good.

Where do you stand on forcing middle school girls to pretend to be lesbians?

In what way? I bet 98% of them weren't even paying attention and were enjoying just being out of the class room.

Here come the excuses from the "free thinking" Progressives.

Not a problem in the least bit. Agnosticism and atheism as well

Educate. Inform. Do not indoctrinate. Unfortunately, the position of the average Progressive is to suppress all speech that is contrary to their ideology.

Free thinkers? Yeah, right.

As long as its voluntary and student initiated, I don't. Do you?

I wouldn't have so much of a problem if all sides are covered, but I don't think we need god (or lack thereof) in schools.

Most of the people in this thread commending the lecture would blow a fuse if it were Muslim.

Teaching sex ed to 2nd graders, and indoctrination on the normalcy of homosexualtiy(the agenda behind gay marriage) to impressionable minds is another.

I missed the "voluntary" part, the thread title says "forced." I guess I should have read the article.

No

People would blow a fuse if it were mandatory, which it is looking like it wasn't, which is what I thought initially. Rex had to put "forces" in there to build his case upon. As it turns out, it was student initiated and not mandatory at all.

That is my point exactly. They are not attempting to educate. They are attempting to indoctrinate. Often in the same shrill tone that they accuse "Christians" of using.

Hypocrites. Plain and simple.

Free thinkers? Hardly.

How many children were harmed at this event?
Not really the point.

Though the OP source is questionable, if true, the school should be taken to task.

Are you saying that jesus is not a historical figure? A man named jesus did not ever live?
