I'm sorry to see Goetze leave Dortmund.

Of course, they'll have money to invest but can't see how they find/attract a player that will not mean a step back. A noteworthy step back too if a couple of their other big names bail too.

It's great for Bayern but the degree of separation they're seemingly achieving seems kind of negative for the Bundesliga as whole.

Yep, this is why the Bundesliga will continue to struggle to be a consistent top European league. Pathetic from Dortmund.

Also funny how different reactions are in soccer when a club builds a superteam vs say the NBA for example.

HOW IN THE CRAP are Bayern going to play Muller, Kroos, Gotze, Martinez, Shaqiri, Schweinsteiger, Gustavo, etcccc in the midfield ASSUMING that Ribery and Robben are gone?

I mean I guess if anyone can do it, it's Pep.

That is just ridiculous. I also expect them to make a few more additions to the midfield in the next few months. My goodness.

You could be rt, but some of their superstars arent getting younger. Youd think Bayern would have already separated themselves yet you have teams like dortmund and werder bremen winning the league when youd think Bayern should have.

They have won 5 of the last 10, so they are the best, but other teams can and have won recently. Wolfsburg won their first 1 recently. That will prob never happen in the Epl. Cant see a a team ever winning #1 with the amount of money the teams at the top spend. Minus Arsenal.

I don't really follow the NBA enough to notice?

Dortmund / Bundesliga

Of course there's always going to be players that come and go from every club for various reasons. However, being one of the three?? biggest clubs in the Bundesliga and with their fan support etc. . . it does seem that they should be able to keep more talent instead of seeing all the top players leave as soon as they're close to reaching their peaks.

I think that it was Tweezy who brought it up in a CL thread, but they housed their players in a straight up hostel in Malaga. Not the best with money. Though, Marco Reus was an excellent buy.

Stupid, you don't sell one of your best players to your direct competition. (yes, that's why I said it)

They were able to replace Sahin and Kagawa with upgrades... I dont think thatwill be possible this go round...

This collection of talent will all be gone soon enough, including the coach... and that's a shame! really fun team to watch...

When Lebron went to Miami is a good example. The basketball universe crucified him for selling out, wanting to win a championship the wrong way, leaving his hometown, etc.

Whereas most of the people I've observed reactions from so far seem to be excited in a way to see what this team can accomplish.

He had a release clause, Bayern met it. They didn't exactly choose to sell him.
