re: Yahoo article on Alfred Blue comments

Would heterosexual females feel "comfortable" if a straight dude was in the shower with them in the girls shower after a game...say Cecil Collins?(okay that is not fair) Lets say an average straight male. A male may not want to copulate with every female in the shower but you would have to agree that the vast majority of the females would feel uncomfortabl,as the dude cut glaces at their ladyparts.... Same with gays being in a shower with other straight dudes. Uncomfortableness would be the result.

I personally feel that gays have the right to pursue happiness like everyone else but not in the shower with other straight men. (kid in a candy shop) comon.

Isn't it a choice / opinion to be gay?? Is that ignorance??
Just like gays have the right to be gay anyone who is not should be given that same right to and the right to their opinion!! If you don't like that i don't support homosexuality then your ignorant!!

You don't have to openly support it. The best thing to do would be just to not care about it. To hate someone based solely on who they frick is stupid...unless it's like your current SO. Then it's cool to hate them.

Eta: also "your ignorant" made me lol.

Kind of getting back on the topic of sports... Gays want to be seen as equals with the ability to play sports and interact normally with the rest of society. They don't want to be stereotyped as "fairies" or "fruity" or any other "f" word that is out there. I get that and respect it because I know a few guys that you would never think just by hanging with them that they were gay.

The hypocritical part that bothers me is all people that disagree with homosexuality is said to be ignorant by the pro-gay community. Isn't that a stereotype? It's sad that there really are some "ignorant" gay bashers out there that torture the gay community with their words and actions, but I shouldn't be lumped into that category because I somewhat share a belief with them.

Care to prove this point? This is totally absurd. How are living things (animals mostly) generated? Without that, even the purblind could not exist. Homosexuality is a waste of product. It creates nothing. It is abnormal. I do not wish ill to homosexuals, but have grown tired of their vapid argument that homosexual couples are like heterosexual ones. If that were true, why the distinction between them?

Is the fact that 2 male animals of the same species (humans, dogs, w/e) can engage in sexual intercourse together and yet not be gay lost on you? Is that blow job you last got a "waste of product" too? That wasn't for procreation.

Genetics can cause people to sometimes be different. Doesn't make them any less legitimate as people though.

Blue has a point, i have to agree with him to an extent. Football is a man's sport, PERIOD. Its not for sissies. In order for a gay man to be a good player he has to be agressive and very macho, not the super soft guys who walk around twisting their hips talking bout they broke their nails. I dont want that in my locker room. If you're gay thats yo business, just be ready to play and dont expect any special treatment. That i believe is where a problem arise, a college player comes out as homosexual, eventually gets cut by NFL team cuz he simply wasnt good enough like majority others who try out. Can you imagine the backlash, every LGBT organization is gonna be screaming bigotry and discrimination because they expect special treatment.

This is just my opinion, i dont agree with homosexuality or anything about that lifestyle, and never will. But i dont hate them, i love them just like i love everyone else in the world. Thats what i was taught as a christian growing up to love your neighbors regardless of your differences. So if they want to get married so be it, equal rights of course you deserve it. Getting special treatment hell no.

Freedom of speech is a constitutional right! Thank you Alfred Blue for speaking your mind! Too bad more men don't have the balls to do just that. Now I long for the day in America when we all can speak our mind about all subjects...including race, religion, the whole ball of wax. There is something very cleansing about the WHOLE truth...not the politically correct crap promoted by the socialists in the faltering republic. Don't be afraid to speak the WHOLE truth. But be factual, not angry or ignorant. It's going to take strong black intelligent males to help the society find it's way back to social sanity!!!!

I am so proud of Alfred for standing up for his first amendment rights. He stated his position and should be applauded for it. When I think of what could have been said on the subject mr blue was rather mild .

Whoa whoa...I think you are going to have to provide some scientific proof bro...

first I have heard there is a "gay gene" of some sort...which of course fits the liberal agenda of best explanation that it's "not a choice" which is in direct opposition of scripture...sin is sin...sometimes it feels natural.. and most often sin is found in temporary pleasure...certainly doesn't mean it good for you or should be shouted from the hilltops and claimed as "Acceptable and normal".

We've lost of minds!

Maybe they will be yelling "boo" instead of "Blueeeeee". Ill be yelling the latter and couldn't give a frick about any of this. Maybe now when we lose a player in recruiting, Les can say "he was too sissy".

It's unfortunate and stupid, IMO, that TDR decided to put the most visible component of it's own university in this position.

Gay rights along with pro choice are two of the most politically charged issues out there. With the negative publicity the team has had in the past off seasons, it just wasn't wise for the Revellie to initiate another shitestorm of controversy.

I don't mind people who choose to be gay, as long as he don't put his hand on my leg. I also agree with Blue for speaking out & not having some one speak for him. Any one remember the first Amendment? At least Blue has a set of balls which is rare in this day & time because of PC.
