If you're not crazy and post here, you know exactly where they're coming from, since you sort of see it daily.
All I'm saying is that it is so blatantly obvious why people constantly state things like "How long do you think it'll take them before they attribute it to right wing/Tea Party/Republicans?".

I don't understand how y'all don't understand why they do that.

It is because that is what the meme de jour has been for the past few years. Are we really arguing that it hasn't been happening?

I'm trying to get a grasp on what we are discussing here.

This board sat around singing kumbaya with each other prior to Boston I guess is what he is saying. (Minus the word Lord to remain PC of course)

It happens on both sides, I think, and I don't have a problem with calling out the individuals that do it. I do have a problem with blaming huge parts of the population for it.

We know now that the Obama Administration had an opportunity to deport Tamerlan in 2009, after he was convicted for domestic violence. The Obama Admin either refused or missed that opportunity.

This inaction is in accord with the Liberal mind-set of being soft on crime and soft on strict enforcement of laws.

So, given the above truth, IMHO, this is part of the answer to your question.

Liberalism is dangerous.

Are David Sirota and Jay Mohr people? Again maybe I just missed it but was this all proven to be lies made up about them to hurt them? I thought the article and postings were true. But maybe they were just "misspoken".

Because everything negative that happens in this country is blamed on GOP/Republicans/Conservatives, etc...

Gabby Giffords
Certain Douchebags this week did it
Aurora Shootings
Sequestor
9/11 apologists
New Jersey Shooting
Gun Control
Abortion

And once this happened, someone wondered how it would be blamed on the GOP, and the douchebags from MSNBC (the lefts news), salon.com, CNN, and NY Times did not fail to disappoint. So forgive the board that is mostly conservative, if we are a little bit tired of every bad thing in this country is blamed on the right.

That you believe this...in the face of so much contrary evidence...is staggeringly more dangerous.

This board's reaction to the last few days is bizarre and I can't wrap my head around it. Is it just a function of the general tenor of American politics; when in doubt, attack the other side?

It's a real bitch when everyone adopts liberal tactics.

After the rush to blame Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, white Lantinos, ect fot the last four or five incidents... Can't blame people for trying to get in front of it.

People are tired of this isht.

Liberals sodded the environment, now they are unhappy with the grass. Typical.

Yes, it does happen on both sides. Both parties blame each other for problems this country faces.

The thing you aren't acknowledging is that over the past few years, the right has been painted as the violent party. Jared Loughner, Gabby Giffords are two recent examples. The portrayal of the Tea Party in the news as racist rednecks would fit the bill as well.

I understand why the right wing individuals are frustrated with this. I'm not really sure why most of y'all can't understand that.

It is because their political parties/ideals are getting tied to violent events quite often. Even if you understand that the parties are not that way, doesn't mean that a large portion of Americans aren't beginning to tie the two subjects together. The "right wing" parties are considered more violent than the "left wing".

At the same time, the left is getting tied to the concept of constantly blaming the right for these events, on top of constantly claiming racism.

The circular nature of this whole ordeal is quite comical.

It is just the nature of our current media and politically partisan society.

quote:

I don't have a problem with calling out the individuals that do it.
I agree. They should be called out. The reason people direct their statements at entities such as CNN, MSNBC, and many of the newspapers is because they give those people a platform and let them spout off those opinions unchecked.

And like I said, most of us on here understand that what they are saying isn't true, but it is an issue with the majority of our populace who happens to be, IMO, stupid. The extent of the information they receive on politics comes from those talking heads.
quote:

I do have a problem with blaming huge parts of the population for it.
Sure, that makes sense, but do you understand why they do that?

It is because even though many Democrats obviously understand that the statements these people are making are false, partisan drivel, they never call them out on it. Silence, in the eyes of the one being demonized, is the same as condoning the action.

And yes, before you say anything, Republicans are guilty of that as well.

Your post is a complete non sequitur. It makes no sense whatsoever. It's like a person too drunk to stand up just threw a punch in my general direction.

LINK

FedGov had the opportunity to deport Tamerlan in 2009. Tam got a criminal conviction for domestic violence. Nothing was done by Obama's FedGov in response.

Liberalism is dangerous. Liberalism is soft on crime and not very reliable when it comes to taking the kind of law enforcement and national security actions that keep us safe.

Now, this link establishes a direct nexus between Liberal Obama/his softness on enforcing immigration laws and dead people in Boston. How do you respond to this? Please, no more non sequiturs.

PS Remember Benghazi. Another example of how Liberalism is Dangerous. Liberal Obama's naive ideas on embassy security results in dead people.

If you were able to participate in substantive exchange of ideas instead of ad hominem attacks, your opinions and views would be more persuasive.
