I wouldn't sign him to any deal.
Ok, maybe if it had team options in the 2nd AND 3rd year. Then, sure.
Not even with a completely unguaranteed deal. Bynum's problem is his knees are a ticking time bomb. You don't know when they'll go off but you do know they will go off as he's averaged just 44 games per year for the last 6 seasons
. A young team like the Pelicans just has no business taking on that kind of risk. A team with a closing window or no star player at all are really the only ones who should be desperate enough to take on that kind of risk.
