He does play at Teddy's but he lives in LA, but grew up in BR, and plays around the world... Might be hard to book

Both are great suggestions. The Cam Pyle Band is a good choice too.

Boogeymen performed at our wedding. They were great

We had the Boogeymen as well. I didn't know of them before, but was very happy. Tons of people telling us how good the band was.

We recently had City Heat out of Lake Charles. They were a lot of fun and kept everyone dancing the whole time.

If you want the black folk funk music, that is...

My band plays weddings, but we aren't what would be considered a traditional wedding band, and that's what it sounds like you're looking for.

We had LuvSexy at our wedding in January. They were great. They can play just about anything and give you a song list that has thousands of songs to choose frmo before the wedding.

Actually, we had the Shea Michaels band booked and they aren't the typical wedding band. Like his vibe and his voice is great... he was going to basically follow his normal set type and mix in some good wedding songs. He did anything from soul, to blues, southern rock etc etc.... I don't have much of a choice on who i get now, just as long as they are good. I have a budget to work within and the quick upcoming date are the 2 biggest obstacles.
