But I think people who never work wind up sucking at life later too.
For the most part my friends who worked in high school ended up being the most successful as of now. I am 24 and am close to both ends of the spectrum. My friends who never worked in high school, and a few who never worked in college, are having the most difficult time putting down the xbox controller, turning off FIFA, and finding/working a real job.
If parents want to hand their children money until they are twenty three without having them develop a work ethic then that will be their problem when that kid is living on their couch until they are thirty.
The one's who start early and balance their work and education will be the one's who will have developed marketable skills and most importantly a work ethic.
This is why India and China are dominating employment in the States as of recently. They have an ethic and begin at an early age. They do not have a nipple to suck on until they are 22.
