Chicot....I thought the same thing. It's a little troubling that our "Leader" has the attitude that he has about the situation. We need him to buy in 100%....if not step aside!I'm a Mett fan, but this has me scratching my head.

re: OC Cam Cameron rebuilding LSU's attack.
CCs Pro Pedigree is obvious. Formation and match ups are keys to a NFL schemed offense. CC will force opposing defenses to defend the pass at every level and width of field. Stretching that will open running lanes. TE is most underused position in college offenses and a premium in the pro game. Ravens 49ers Patriots all feature TE play and are very successful offenses. Combined with a brutal running game Mett only has to be efficient not spectacular. Flacco Jr is born. Geaux Tigers !

The new LSU offense will never be ready in time!

Did I do it right?

Blame the players not the coach right?

That's a good one coming from a guy who blamed JJ for every fricking thing that went wrong.

Anyone who isn't brain dead knows the blame is shared by both the coach and player.

he always looks in pain when doing interviews...I don't read a whole lot into what he's saying, but if he's heart isn't into it, he'll get passed.

LIKE IT. Dickson can be a player with the right scheme/qb combo.

If you watch the link you will see where he tell's one player if he didn't run the catching drill the way he was supposed to, then to get out of it.

I saw that too. I kind of get the feeling he half way meant it though. He didn't really reinforce by making eye contact with the guy or saying it emphatically.

I really hope I'm wrong though. I agree with one of the other posters about chewing the players and making them accountable makes them play harder. Another Chavis type at OC is what I would like.

I shall reserve judgement until the offense has a chance to redeem itself. Meantime, I remain a loyal skeptic.

After re-watching that vid, I don't think hes not happy with the changes, but I think he feels more preasure. His comments about Cam's expectations of them being so high is very telling, IMO. Kid just got done with practice, sometimes things from practice are still on your mind right after.

I for one am perfectly fine with CC having high expectations for the players. Set the bar out of reach, keep EVERYONE reaching for that next step. There is no top to stop at. When you think you have reached the level of what is expected is when you become complacent.

My perception was that it was more telling about Stud than Cam. Why are these high expectations something new ?

re: OC Cam Cameron rebuilding LSU's attack.
I mean its fairly common. You have an NFL guy who has spent the last 10 years dealing with Veteran NFL players.

Then you go down to LSU where there is a high turn-over rate due to success sending players to the NFL early. So you have a team of 18-20 yr old kids as opposed to 33 yr old veterans.

I agree that they expectations still should have been high under stud, but STud is also used to being around these kids who are still learning, as opposed to Cam who has been around adults who have learned the majority of what there is to know, and are now trying to polish up certain things.

Measurables - sure, I agree.
Concept - shouldn't be new.
