When we played him last year, Brazil busted ALL of his long gainers between the tackles, not on the edge. And I've seen that in some other film on him. He's so damn fast, he hits a little seam and bye bye.

I hope the offense is different as much as anyone. I do hope though, that we never lose that trench attitude of imposing our will on a team late in the game. It seems thus far that we have the personnel to do both

In other words... instead of being able to tell what the offense is about to run based off of the look they are giving you... The offense can essentially run ALMOST everything out of any set (or "look").

This, in a nutshell, killed us last year offensively when we needed some critical TD's, not FG's.

Blue and Hill are all around complete backs IMO. Blue may have a little more speed? I hope he can pick up where he left off last season and his injury doesn't make him take a step back. Blue and Hill are gonna be some lethal weapons.

No. I haven't. But I will have a tv for the next football season, so I won't miss out again.

So you think BLUE is the guy that you send up the middle to punish LB's huh!

And it only took him 4 years to realize we needed to change the offense.

This is a bad argument. How many future NFL linemen did he run behind in high school? The lines become a wash if you're trying to evaluate how well a player runs between the tackles cause sure, he may not have faced any SEC caliber DTs or DEs but he also never ran behind any SEC caliber OLineman. You have to worry about linebackers and how well he takes them on, how well he can take a hit, etc. Which, with his speed, if he makes just one LB miss, he's at the second level before you even blink. That equals big gainers. I think he actually could break a few up the middle. Whether he does or not, i guess we'll see.

Guys.. No huddle doesn't mean Oregon type high speed offense. It just means they won't hundle, the plays will be signaled in while the offence is at the line. This allows the coach to control the pace of the game. I can definitely see us using fast pace every ounce in a while when the opposing defense is on it's heels but other than that cam will probably take his time calling in the plays this allows him to watch the defense line up before he even makes his play call. LSU will not have an all the time Oregon style offense because it doesn't give the defense enough time to rest and in cams first press conference he stressed how important all three phases of the game are and said he keeps that in account when he's calling plays.

If Cam Cameron was calling plays last November 3,
the GumpTeabagNecks would not have won the NC.

We may have.

re: What I've learned so far about the offense...

You forget that two years ago Miles brought in Coach Kragthorpe to be the QB coach and OC. Even with our poor offense in 2011, LSU was 13-0 heading into the NC game. I know Miles waited longer then we would have liked to send Gary Crowton packing but under Crowton's first year LSU had its most prolific offense. The following two years were expected to be lead by Ryan Perrilloux, but instead they had to play freshmen QBs. I think Miles finally realized that an overhaul was desperately needed. At little to late for me, but he did make a change which I will give him much credit for. Miles is not so stubborn that he won't adapt to change. That's what get coaches fired. Until I see different on the game field, I choose to be excited.

Correction, nothing has been learned until we see this "new offense" in an actual game. Right now it's all just hype to me
