You can have withdrawals for days before levels become undetectable. Also, if he took too much Tramadol he could be having seizures from that. It's the easiest painkiller to get prescribed, by far, and it is known for causing crazy seizures in people.

Xanax and Alcohol are the only two drugs where you can die from WDs and its from the seizures but there is no way he is WDing from anything. You get the seizures from Tramadol when you take them, not from WDs.
