just proves my point that TIGER is nowhere NEAR the golfer compared to Jack.

tiger woods was better than jack at every stage of his career. keep clinging to the 18 number while there is still time. when all is said and done, tiger woods will go down as the greatest sportsman of all time.

Since they were not involved in Tiger's conception, Tiger still would have been born, and hence, existed.

If Tiger wins tomorrow, that will give him 5 wins in his last 19 PGA Tourneys Well didn't Nicklaus finish 2nd in a major 15 times plus his wins? People like to forget that stat.

And that the people arguing about depth don't realize that the next tier after Palmer, Watson, Trevino, Watson, and Ballesteros includes guys like Raymond Floyd, Gary Miller, Tom Kite, Andy North, Billy Casper, Hale Irwin, Julius Boros, Ben Crenshaw, Tom Weiskopf, and so on.

That competition is comparable to the first tier that Tiger plays against.

OK what about all the #2 finishes in majors that Jack had compared to Tiger.. PLUS Tiger has NOT WON a MAJOR since 2008, and is NOT playing good enough to win 4 more let alone ONE more...........

The same people who now play the "they're tied" card said at the beginning of Tiger's career that Jack's two amateur titles didn't count even though the were at the time recognized major victories.

Also the same people who invented the "Tiger Slam"

This, again, speaks to depth of field

For someone with so much golf knowledge, you would think that if he wins twice in the early season, that means he's playing well, along with that you can play really poorly in the season, but peak entering a major in August, for example, and win a major.

But I guess with my limited golf knowledge, i didn't know that the way you play in a match play tournament on a terrible golf course in Arizona is what dictates the rest of your career

I actually tiger woods.
I just can't stand the media people that constantly blow him regardless how well or poorly he plays.

NO!! NO!! NO!!!

Quoth Ric Flair. To be the man you gotta beat the man. WHOOOO!!

The number is 18. Tiger Woods would be the first to tell you this number is all he cares about now.

You can debate Tiger being a better athlete and doing more impressive things. And Jack guys can point to technology and attention to fitness. Jack did not have access to either, but competitor that he was, his arse would have been in the gym too.

The burden of proof is on YOU. You prove that without them Tiger wouldn't have existed.

Do you ever have a discussion without resorting to calling people names? It is very immature.

Golf would still exist as a sport without Jack and Arnie. I don't see what you're getting at. Are you saying golf wouldn't be on TV? Or wouldn't be popular?
