When you spend money like we collectively have for decades, this is an inevitable conclusion to those ends. Americans need to know the consequences of their votes, so I have no problem with Americans seeing such a drop in their incomes.
But the best part of it all is the wealthiest are still living great lives...the best restaurants are still slammed and the middle class and poor are still struggling the most.....class warfare not working yet

Good, the people demanding the entitlements and free giveaways are paying for them. It's as it should be.
May I ask what industry you work in?!?! Simply because I don't know of anyone making more than last year, in real terms. And I'm referring to people ranging from doctors to home contractors to house cleaners.

What's interesting is that the discrepancy in income is THE issue in Obama's political worldview. And, yet, under his policies, the discrepancy grows.
I saw some recent pictures from Dubai. The rich are definitely getting richer. Taxes won't change that. In fact, higher taxes/regulation will only incentivize the rich to use their power to game the system. And that's exactly what is plaguing our government today.
