I know it's total more, but it's technically the same deal, Flaccos deal is just for another year at the same 20 mil rate

It does say in excess of 120 million. But regardless, I can't believe they think Flacco is worth that. It's not like he's been lighting it up the last few years like Brees was before his deal. I guess that's what winning a Super Bowl in your contract year will do for you. That and being a few years younger, maybe?

He will be 35 when this contract expires. If he plays decent throughout the contract he might be able to cash in again.

and hes not worth it. im sorry but he struggles to complete 60% of his passes. i know all the league cares about is rings, but i dont think hes a top 5 QB in the league

I agree he isn't worth it one of my good friends is a ravens fan, and he thinks Flacco deserves every dollar. His claim is that Flacco is clutch in the playoffs. I told him with the cap room Flacco takes up they might not even make the playoffs.

I don't watch or keep up with the Ravens much unless the Saints are playing them or they are in the playoffs. But a couple of stats about Flacco do stand out.
#1. Only QB to ever win a postseason game in each of his first 5 years.
#2. Has 6 playoff road wins which is also a record. I actually would have thought someone like Joe Montana would have had more...but not according to AP.LINK
Maybe the guy isn't chopped liver after all but I still personally don't see him in the same conversation with Brees. Manning, Brady or Rogers either for that matter.
