I looked up the Tweets, this is how I interpret it:
If a team is playing well, they take better 3-point shots. If a team is playing poorly, they take worse 3 point shots. Marcus Thornton takes horrible shots when he and his team are on a hot streak, so him and the Kings are different from the norm.
